Calls Breaking Up After Amber Update

So I'll start by saying I love my Nokia 928. That said after installing the Amber update I've seen several issues pop up. The most troubling is that all (and I mean all) of my calls keep breaking up even when in full LTE coverage. After trying it with several different callers (some on land lines) we were able to determine it was definitely my phone. I've tried soft restarts and ensuring the SIM card was in place correctly but the problem persists, even when checking voice mail.

Secondly, the screen periodically locks up and all touchscreen abilities are lost. A soft restart usually solves this but needless to say all of this has decreased the usefulness and enjoyment of my Nokia 928.
