Audio read of caller ID

I used to have this on my last phone.

Is it possible to have the caller ID read with the speech tools when there is an incoming call.

It's handy for me as I can then hear the number or person calling without having to look at the phone.

My phone is a HTC 8x running Window 8 Mobile.

I figured it out. Seems the Speech was set to English UK which apparently removes the Speech for phone accessibility as an option in the Ease of access.

Which I switched the speech to English United States it appeared there.

Not to rub it in or anything, but my Lumia 822 has that feature.  You're right, it is very useful.  Although, sometimes, it makes me laugh at the pronunciation of the names.

Yes you can have that feature as ALL Windows 8 phone have it.

From your home screen> swipe left to bring up your app lists > click on Setting > ease of access > Speech for phone accessibility > turn on

Seems my HTC 8x doesn't have the Speech for phone Accessibility there.

It has:

text size

High Contrast

Screen Magnifier

TTY/TDD

Those are the only settings on the ease of access.

I'm in the USA so I am thinking maybe this phone is missing it? (I got it less than a week ago from the local Verizon store)
