I want the 950 for my wife and XL for myself. Will go with the first carrier in my area to support this phone.

Go to AT&T. Microsoft is not talking to other carriers to carry the phone. So it will not be on other carriers.

Microsoft isn't talking to them.  AT&T is the only one officially supporting the phone and Microsoft isn't talking to T-Mobile for official support.

SOmething tells me he doesn't want to buy the phones outright and wants to get either a contract or payment plan.  Since there is no official support only AT&T will be able to give him those options.

I'm fully aware of that, but he used the word "support," not sold.

Based on the number of devices he said and how often people can drop 1500 in 1 go is where I made the assumption. Also the ones that can't always assume support as being carried by that carrier and sold by that carrier (spend a lot of time on T-Mobile forums) over actually working on said carrier.

Yea, I found a "Tidbits" over on their forum - wondered if that was you.  I was going to ask you via a message, but VZW doesn't let us send messages to those that don't follow us.

Ask away on either forums. If you use the same user name. I am also on AT&T too. Sprint at one point long story about that one....

Personally I want to get the 950 myself but feel like I should hold off for a multicarrier version like the iPhones or Nexus devices. I would love to use 1 device for multiple carriers our office uses. Personally I am tired of using company issued phones and carry my personal phone. After a while it's a huge pain in the bottom.
