Yah, just picked up my 950xl and connected wilt T-Mobile. Have great coverage in my area with faster download speed and cheaper plan rates. This is after being a customer for 20 years.... back when it was still PrimeCo. My whole eco system is Windows, so I am not giving that up for a carrier that has never been the most customer friendly. And its all because Verizon wants control of the phone (updates, etc.), just like they did with iPhone at first. Verizon had to cave on that one because it was so popular they lost too many customers (too much money). With Windows, Verizon probably won't care; not enough money loss for them to actually have to give customers what they want.

Just a thought for those who haven't switched yet; Every carrier is catching up to Verizon's coverage, they simply can't expand much more as they already cover most everywhere. The gap between them and T-Mobile, ATT is closing quickly. This means that the other carriers, which have better phone options and pricing will soon nullify the one thing Verizon has held over their head. Far more customers lost in the future because they didn't take care of them in the present.

Cheers.

In major metro areas the coverage is pretty close for all the majors. But stray from those big cities and you quickly find that nobody can come close to Verizon's coverage. I've had T-Mobile, AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon. At least where I live, in northern NJ, Verizon is the only choice that gets you coverage. Pay a little more, get a LOT more.
