AFAIK, *77 isn't supported on Verizon cell phones. To block restricted/blocked caller ID numbers, you'd need to subscribe to Usage Controls ($4.99 per month), use an app, or use a mail service like You Mail.

should have thought of this, what happens if I dial *77 on my vzw cell phone?
