voicemail outage?

is there currently issue with Verizon wireless voicemail (5/14/2013)?  My voicemail doesn't pick up when someone calls me and I get a busy signal when I check my messages. I live in Iowa.

What kind of phone do you have?

Thanks for the reply.  I have a palm pre2.  I just checked and it's still doing the busy signal when I call voicemail this morning (5/15/2013).  Thanks.

Oh my! I know its important to have a properly working voicemail at all times. Let's get this resolved. Your voicemail maybe forwarded. Please dial *73 from cellphone, Press Send and wait for confirmation beeps/message, and press End. Keep me posted.

Thanks for your response.  I tried the *73 from my phone, received a couple of beeps confirmation and ended the call.  However, when I try to access voicemail, I still get the busy signal.  Any other ideas?  Thanks again for your help.
