You have to plug it in via usb and download the driver see:

Yes but unless the older computer has wifi it must be connected via usb, we are assuming it is a desktop and not a laptop.

Don't think desktop has wifi built in and have to check mifi for ethernet port. Thanks

Look for USB on the mifi, that is where you'll have to connect the computer to
