understanding my bill??

I received notification that my wireless bill is now ready and it shows a balance of $302.87. When I click down to the Oct. 15 bill itself, it shows a credit balance (83.23).
How am I to understand this?

Have you went to My Verizon to view the details of your bill? Did you recently start service or make plan changes? You can also call CS by dialing 611 from your wireless device, or 800-922-0204 from any phone.
