I simply want to discontinue 2 of my three phone lines. I went to the authorized Verizon store and was told that the store personell cannot do this, and I need to call support.

Of course, I tried to do this online, but not possible. I can suspend a line temporarily, but I do not want to do that. I want to discontinue those lines and also drop the insurance.

So, here I am typing this message while my phone is on hold with Verizon.

So, Is Verizon not making enough money to adequately staff people to provide support?

I'm sure that Verizon make millions in profit since Net Neutrality was killed.

I am not impressed at all with Verizon as a company, and the report is far below my expectations.

Are you calling the specific number for cancelations?

"To cancel service or remove a line permanently: Call Customer Service at (800) 392-0717, (Mon – Fri, 7 AM - 9 PM, Sat – Sun, 8 AM – 9 PM local time)."
