So I buy a new phone and 'poof' no service!  "Customer Service" what say you?

Did you get it at a store or online? Maybe there is an issue with the SIM card. You didn't try to do the *228 thing did you?

No one in the neighborhood with a Verizon phone has service.  I have an 80 mile drive for work tomorrow morning should have service eventually on that trip.

No service=no good! Let's dig in and see what we can find out. Since posting, has your service come in on the S4? Upon receipt of the device and activation in the system, have you been able to make a call or receive a call at all? If so, please remove the battery and SIM card and reinsert. Then, please try again.
