i760 & data plan

I was looking at the Samsung 1760 since I'd like a phone & PDA combo, but I really don't have any need for a data plan, other than text messages.  With that in mind, I have a 3 part question:

1)  Can I get this phone with a data block on it?

2) Will texting still work with the data block?

3)  Will the wi-fi still work with a data block if I want occasional internet use?

You can't get this phone without a data plan.

Regular texting would work with the data block, excluding pics/vids.
