If you are unsatisfied why stay. Leave for another carrier. if you phones stopped working they should be under warranty for the first year. Also you had the option to purchase insurance.

DANOFF75,
We appreciate the 15+ years you've been with us and certainly want you to have nothing but the best experience. It's never our intent to confuse any of our customers though. So that we can ensure that we address your concerns, please provide more details about what's going on. What exactly happened that caused confusion? What specific concerns do you have when it comes to Verizon Up? Please share information regarding what happened with the phones that you purchased five years ago.

The network is what Verizon what it is, not the customer. Good customers, bad customers - it's the same with every carrier. If you're not happy, choose another carrier. I left the others because I was tired of having poor service -first carrier was Verizon so it's not like I have any bias as I left them before in the past.
When something isn't working, you try something else.
