I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be to have to deal with an ongoing issue for months cyh15. Allow us to get to the bottom of your account concerns. What plan changes are you referring too? When activating a smartphone on the account it is required that a data plan is added to the line.

Thank You,

I don't get it? What exactly are the mandatory plan changes? What pricing do you have and what pricing are you trying to get?

SWAG - sounds like OP may have added a line to get a new smartphone to transfer to another line, guessing there may be unlimitted data involved

"Just missed" the mandatory plan changes, meaning the loophole that allowed one to upgrade a line with a smartphone, then swap it out with a basic phone and drop the data plan, while moving the new smartphone to an existing line with unlimited data?  If you did, indeed, get in under the deadline, then you would have had to call in and request the data plan be dropped once you put a basic phone on the line.  If you didn't do that then, you can do it now and save the $30 going forward, but I doubt you will get a refund for the months gone by.

If this isn't the situation, then I reiterate what dad_of_2 stated - we need more info to help you.

thanks for the replies! Sorry for the delay in response but in addition to this issue my iPhone decided to die this week and I can only use it if I turn it off after every single use, it's been lovely.

To answer your questions I was told that a data package would not be applied to the basic line then I added back in September however this turned out to be a lie. I've been trying to rectify the situation since I found out in December. I was told in January that this situation was taken care of and I would receive a credit. It wasn't until a couple weeks ago that I found out this is never happened and the supervisor posted false notes in my account. The supervisor never notified me that the request was not completed. when we hung up I was told it was done so when I spoke with a rep a couple weeks ago she wouldn't transfer me to supervisor and told me a supervisor would call me back. we hung up & I then receive a text in all caps telling me that the charges were legitimate on the account and that and I could not cancel this plan, I have still yet to hear from the manager. I then called the other day was on hold for over 45 minutes and was told the manager would call me back right away after being on hold for all this time and reiterating my story twice. 4 days later I have still not received a call back from anybody.

Oh Manager..(shouting at the only man in a tie at the restaurant)  These days are sadly long gone...

Having a Manager (escalations team) call you back may not be the best thing going forward anyway as in my experience with this company over 12 years one must dispel any notion of having anyone at Verizon, let alone the escalations office call you and if they do they are not well known for solving any issue as it is  patently against Verizon policy to whine and complain about anything (read your Verizon service agreement) If by chance you should happen upon such a representative, recall that lying to you at Verizon is also fully authorized and supported by the Back Office team as it's most recent partner Vodaphone recently discovered and subsequently recoiled in horror at the truth of the rumor that their hard earned 65% interest in the company was likely now in the hands of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and so they pulled out as this was the last straw in the manger... and sold their share to the amazement of the underwriters that now insist  (through rumor they control) that it was a well-planned de-merger of sorts on the horizon and that Verizon has re-purchased all shares sold by Vodaphone on the NY stock exchange or in any way on Vodaphone's behalf.

See their recently changed website that looks remarkably like a "My Verizon" page that recently removed all reference to

their association with Verizon from all of it's bona fides and informational portals...This is no accident as the UK company has one rule only and that is something that every Englishman and woman and indeed every American would

term both " tragic news to discover" and a highly unethical process" referring to the beating of a homeless female customer that dared to disagree with Verizon as to her bill and was "QUOTE" beaten so senseless that the justification for this sort of treatment as Roman entertainment at a Verizon junket seemed even more ridiculous and horrible than hearing tell of that evenings entertainment (in from of mostly escalations officers) and as the officials reported the mantra from now at Verizon will be that "the beatings will continue until morale improves and payment made: that Vodaphone pulled

it's preferred share and have shamed all Americans in the English press recently as to how glad the UK is that we Americans defected more than 200 years ago from God, King and County and good riddance to the likes of us ads

even Australia in chains is much too good a punishment for Verizon's outlook on the misfortunate among us...and who has taken for granted the freedoms we all enjoy from this sort of persecution..this from out Cellphone service provider? for us"certain lake in Connecticut   woman who managed to keep her own Verizon account active via a government program eating it's customers until their morale improves"

"Vodafone Group Plc is one of the world's leading telecommunications groups, with a significant presence in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific through the Company's subsidiary undertakings, joint ventures, associated undertakings and investment and no longer have any association with the Verizon company in the United States."

Good luck with that very same "escalations team" folks, given the fact that at Verizon in the back office there in Connecticut the very foundation of democracy and freedom...and the company's very own interpretation of these sorts of issues and the complaint you are asked  to mail to them at the same address...as you issue might just make you the next possible candidate considered for what the term 'escalation'...which next time may indeed you yourself having your head stuck atop a twelve foot sharpened pike and held up in the air to a thunderous cheer from the likes of Romans in the arena that long ago went silent...use caution in all communications verbal or written as they both can spell serious humiliation and the injury that seems to follow those overblown overlords in New Jersey that know pray that some physical injury will follow the shame laid at the feet of the unwashed masses" or so they and the Holy Bible itself seem to say....IMHO better to give up wireless than support this sort of behavior...just as Vodaphone will tell you if you give then a phone call at headquarters in the UK. perhaps on your new wireless plan from others whomever you might choose for that after hearing of these sad events in time that we all wish were full of the honor, hope and dreams we all

are a part of here in this vast expanse of opportunity we don't need this sorta thing around here we might wish to write on our next outrageously

larger than necessary bank check we have sending them for years....as for heaven's sake, enough is enough..!
