i have a joint account with my boyfriend but accidently downloaded the ringback subscription to his phone instead of mine. how do i go about unsubscribing his phone and putting it on my phone?

You can do it thru your My Verizon account. But what I would suggest is calling customer service to take it off his line and politely ask for a credit of the tone you purchased (most likely $1.99).
What you need to do to get it on your line is register for your own MyVerizon account, if you haven't already. So each of you would have a MyVerizon account. Then log in with your own username/password and complete the same steps to download the tone you want but this time it'll go to your phone #.

Yes you need to call customer care for the credit. Its best you do it immidatly and make sure you download the same song on your phone.
