I have family base plan and love the controls . However when I try to make a phone call , I am asked to re enter the 10 digit phone number. After
I re enter the number the call is made. Manually entering a phone number is not convenient in todays world. I was told it was because Verizon
is sharing a tower and it is one of the drawbacks. Is this something I will have to deal with or is it being worked to correct?

I understand the nuisance, rp1childers. The message you're hearing to re-enter the number you're dialing is absolutely normal when you have a control service, like Family Base, active and are attempting to call from an extended network area. The only way to avoid having this recording while on extended network is to remove the control service from the line.
