I know that there are PC cards that are available for use with notebooks for wireless access but would like to know what is available for a PC desktop.
I travel in a RV and spend quite a bit of time in an area where the best cell signal is Verizon. I would like to access the Internet using the PC desktop in the RV but since all the options I see are for laptops I am a bit confused on what I need so that I may use my desktop.
FYI - I do not have a Verizon account for cell service and I am already tied up with ATT due to having an iPhone but would have no problem with signing on for one of the verizon wireless plans.

Most Desktops have a USB port, so the items for laptops would (Should) work on a laptop also

Shop around there are far better deals to be found for mobile broadband that you can use on your home pc or laptop.. Virgin Mobile has an UNLIMITED mobile broadband plan for $40.00 a month. also a few others out there that dont impose the measley 5GB cap you will get using Verizons MIFI 2200 for $60.00 a month
