My 2 contract has ended for two phones. We have the MORE EVERY LOYAL TLK TXT 6GB and may switch to The new Verizon Plan 4GB which will save us money. Iif we change plans to the The new Verizon Plan, will that be a new two year contract or no contract?

Changing plans does not change contract status. If you have no contract now, it will stay no contract, which shows up as month to month.

Is it cheaper to switch even though you can now add the month2month discount to each line? Saving $50 a month, if you keep using the same phones.

A contract is a method of purchasing a discounted phone, nothing more. Since your contracts are up, your in good shape. Since contracts are going away completely, and the new plan will lower your line fee to $20 from $25, it might be a good deal for you.
