Verizon got rid of 1 year upgrades a long time ago.

That's a way of going about it sirguy, however, there is a 2-year agreement with any line and the activation fee. I do have another great option though; it's a faster way to upgrade anytime our customers want to. Please look at our special Edge program, http://vz.to/19mc84j .

I could have been wrong on the March 2014 date, but I do know that my upgrade was before 2015. Regardless, I should have still been grandfathered into my original agreements.

Your "original agreements" said two years (24 months). Early upgrades were never part of your contract. They were a Verizon "policy".
