Why does my replacement phone come whit a new 1 year warranty? The problem with the first phone was not caused by me so why should I have less than a 1 year warranty on the new phone?

You have a 1 year warranty when you purchased the phone. The replacement was provided under the 1 year warranty, and is covered until the initial 1 year term is up.
You did not purchase the 2nd phone, so you are not entitled to the warranty of that device, just your initial purchase.
