Are you kidding me. They advertise the best coverage. I get zero bars where I live. I have been with these people for over 25 years. With 4 phones on a plan and paying over $300 a month. And your honestly tell me they should offer a $249 piece of equipment to me!

They do have the best coverage, but they don't guarantee coverage availability everywhere.

No, they are not kidding you. You chose to move, not Verizon. If you are unwilling to purchase an extender, you may want to start looking for providers which DO provide acceptable service in your home if that is what you require.
