I am trying to add FamilyBase to one line (for my 12 year old with an iPhone). When I try to sign up it adds the $4.99 as expected - but when I try to complete the transaction it adds another $40 per month to our base monthly account cost (on top of the $4.99 for the FamilyBase service that I am willing to agree to). The review page at the end of signing up states that my monthly plan goes from $135 per month to $175 per month. Does anyone at Verizon know why?
I am willing to pay $4.99 per month but not $44.99 per month for FamilyBase. Please advise. Thanks. Tim

Keep in mind FamilyBase is for the entire account, not just 1 line. It is $4.99 and include all lines on the account.

It's showing the total cost of that line. It isn't charging you for just the feature alone.

Agreed. It only adds 4.99 per month to your account. I have it and the monthly bill didn't go up 44.99 per month.
