I followed all the directions and it showed that it was backing up my content. But once it was done, there was no information. It was pretty much "stock". Is the info lost now or is there somewhere I can retrieve it?

Did you create a Samsung account on your phone before that you were signed into on your phone? Were you using the Verizon Cloud application? Or Google to back up all your contacts, pictures and photos?
