Thanks. I looked all over that thread but never saw the notice until I went back. It is a yellowish/green, so maybe I'm yellowish/green color blind. Quick answer. Wade

Maybe you can help me on this one: "huge data hog" started by Aframer. It has 39 replies, but they are not numbered as is usual. Why?
It, too, is locked. Why?
The notice says it branched to a different discussion, but when I click to see the new discussion branched to, I get this:
Access to this place or content is restricted. If you think this is a mistake, please contact your administrator or the person who directed you here.
How do I contact my administrator?
How can I access the person who directed you here.
The "person" was a Verizon computer. Wade

Most threads don't have the posts numbered; I'm assuming it has to do with how many posts there are, but to be honest, I've never really given it much thought.
I've no idea why that thread is locked.

Discussions are numbered if the user has their viewing style set to "Flat". The default is "Threaded". A threaded discussion will switch to a "flat" style after it reaches a larger number of posts. Which I think is about 40 to 50 posts.
For example, the post I quoted here is marked as number FOUR for this discussion or the fourth reply.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Based on your post, I just saw where to change it in Preferences.
I'd never given it any thought; learn something new every day.
