Every call I make that lasts longer than 5 minutes gets dropped at least once. This problem started several months ago. The local Verizon store in Mason City, IA told me it was due to the new plans that have unlimited data. The towers aren't keeping up with the demand and the signal gets weak or interrupted. Verizon brags about it coverage area and signal strength, but the current service is terrible. I use the phone for business and I am so frustrated that I am about to changed providers.
