Seriously considering jumping ship from Verizon if I can't get offered a reasonable plan. I've been on contracts for years and they just don't want to do anything to cater to me for being a longtime customer. Basically shopping around and other companies seem better.
I'm looking for something on a single line plan with unlimited talk/text and data if possible. If not unlimited data then something reasonably priced. I want to pay under $100 per month if I can. Tired of high bills.

Well I'd stay but it seriously looks like other carriers have more to offer with rollover data and they offer 10GB to start in addition to whatever you choose. Plus streaming music does not count against the data like with Verizon. It's a shame Verizon can't offer anything good to a longtime customer. I even have asked for free accessories or anything and I always get a "no" or they tell me there are deals on accessories. Longtime customers should be appreciated I think, and I'm wondering why I stayed so long?

Not sure what happened to my first response hours ago, but you might also look into the fact that unlimited radio streaming will go away with Net Neutrality. Buy the service that is the best for you that also has a plan you like and coverage you need. Like I said previously: $50 1GB and $60 2GB both with unl talk and text. Try that out or look elsewhere.

Yeah I'm totally on the fence about what to do. I'm all set buying another phone on Verizon then wanting to switch to another company. Because right now I want to upgrade to an iphone so its not like I have a smartphone to use for now and see if I like the data package and give it a try to see what works.

What's the end game here? You know Verizon will work just about anywhere. You better figure it out BEFORE you upgrade. Don't worry with that 2 week or whatever trial period with GSM carriers. If it is even remotely anything less than BROAD around where you spend the most time, as in you are in the good but not best area of the coverage map, don't do it. The hassle of returning is not worth it. Neither are the return fees on restocks and paid usage for the trial period.
