I recently Edged up to a Droid Turbo and have 30 days to send in my Moto X back. Now the wife indicates she wants the Moto x. if I don't return this phone in 30days, I will have to pay the remaining balance, which is fine. Will it be added to my bill? Will I be able to activate this on her line?

camry9298, congratulations on your upgrade to a new Turbo device! The Edging up process requires that you trade in your current device. As a result, you will need to ship that device to us. For more details regarding how Edge works, click on http://vz.to/18hFNL6

Why did Edge Up if there was a possibility that you wanted to keep the old phone?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I had intentions of send the Moto X in. The wife went window shopping and most of the phones she saw were too big, ie Turbo, Iphone 6, etc. She like the size of the 1st gen Moto X, that's why I asked the ?. Can I activate now, or do I have to wait until the I get billed for the balance?

I can help answer that, camry9298. First, I would just like some additional information. When did you Edge up to the Droid Turbo? The reason I ask is because we are currently in our extended holiday return period: http://vz.to/1cDtDdD If your purchase date falls between November 27, 2014 to December 31, 2014, you have until January 15, 2015 to return the turbo. This way, you won't have to pay for the entire Edge agreement for a device you don't truly want. If you are outside of the return period, the Edge installments would continue to bill monthly unless you disconnect the line. You are able to activate the Moto X at any time.

You can activate now, and then you will get charged the balance. No need to wait.

LasinaH - did your actually READ the original question? The OP is aware of the trade-in requirement. He wishes to KEEP the previous device rather than trade it in. He's just trying to find out if the balance (the other 25% or 40%) on his previous Edge agreement (the MotoX) will be billed in lump sum, added to his bill, WHAT?

It seems I'm getting better answers from fellow customers rather than VZW support!
