With the new plan designs if I am eligible for an upgrade in December will I still be able to get a new phone at a discounted rate by signing another contract? Or will I have to move to a new plan and purchase a phone at the retail price? Wondering if I can't get a discounted phone what the benefits would be of waiting until December when my contract is up.
You can still go back on contract, it will cost more, but you can instead of getting a new device on the payment plan with he lower access charge of $20 vs $40 and the DPP has no upgrade fee of $40. You can do the math yourself, but DPP pretty much always comes out cheaper than a contract plan.
