I have 12 Panasonic tough books that have the sierra wireless MC7750 cards in them. I have installed the latest VZ access manager software and when it attempts to update the firmware I get an error that says the WWAN device could not be detected. This only happens on about half the machines, half of them work and half do not. Checking the bios everything looks fine, the drivers install correctly and the device shows as a connected port but not as a modem device. The physical switch is turned on, the WI-FI works as expected it just keeps says the WWAN device is not detected make sure the switch is turned on.
An idea on why it is doing this on some devices and not on them all? Or how to turn on the WWAN?
These area all windows 7 64 bit pro OS machines.
