If you didn't open a new line, there's no $35 activation fee. There would be a $30 upgrade fee which will be reversed if the phone is returned within 14 days. There will be a $35 restocking fee though.

Not a good answer - why should I have to pay a restocking fee when a VZW employee gave me the wrong information?  Actually at least 3 of them did, since I have had 4 different quotes.  I would not have purchased the phone without the details that were provided - which were inaccurate.
