Very bad reception in area

Member

Our area has very bad cell reception.  It takes me 3 or 4 calls to get a full conversation in with anyone. I work from home 3 days a week and I really need better reception.  We are in area code 22556.  is there anyway to get better reception without having to buy a signal booster?

I LIVE IN 48009 AND AM ON 24 HOUR CALL. I GET ONLY 1 OF 5 BARS IN MY HOUSE ALL ALMOST ALL CALLS ARE DROPPED. i have been complaining since early May. They write up the order but never do anything to fix it or even call me back regarding status. Meanwhile I continue to honor my contract for 5 phone lines. Anyone else in 48009 having to deal with this issue?

Steelers4582,

I would be happy to take a look at all of your available options. What device do you have? When did this issue start occuring? Does it effect everyone with Verizon or just you? Are any other service effected? Does this occur indoors or outdoors?

I have a galaxy s3. My wife has the newest htc one. Both get poor

reception inside our home and it is about the same outside in our yard. It

has been this way since we moved into our new home 7mo ago. It got worse

when the trees got leaves.

@MARCL

We never want you to be without reliable service!  You mentioned only receiving 1 bar of service in your house and that calls are dropping.  What exactly are you experiencing when you are outdoors at this location?  What model phone are you using?  Please share details.  I'm happy to help.

Help is right here, front and center steelers4582. May I ask what zip code are you in? Are you having issues with voice and data services? Can I assume that there isn't any physical/liquid damage on the device?

Thank you…

We are in zip code 22556. Voice and data are bad reception. We have our

phones connected to WIFI while at home, but if WIFI is turned off we get 3G

on and off inside and outside. No physical damage to our phones. My wife

just got the new HTC One 8 and I've had my GS3 for just over a year now.

Thanks for the additional info steelers4582! Network coverage can be affected during the spring and summer months due to the additional foliage. If you have high speed internet, the Network Extender can be a useful tool to improve service at your home. http://vz.to/1hDAPfJ

Thank you,
