My friend just got Sprint and says that we can both talk to each other free of charge because of her plan. Her plan says that whoever she calls will not get charged. I want to know is this really true? If I call her or if she calls me will I get charged?
If you have a plan with an allowance of minutes, then calls to or from her will be deducted from that allowance (unless you're using night/weekend minutes). Sprint can't dictate terms of Verizon's service.
Your friend will not be charged (or have minutes used from allowance) on calls to or from you, but that is on her Sprint account. Nothing changes for you.
