Approximately six years ago I has to get off of a family plan and leave the country briefly. In preparation I called verizon customer services well in advance and asked what I needed to do. Suffice to say there was misinformation given and I thought I was in the clear. Fast forward to today, I am checking my credit and I see a collections bill from verizon. I just need to clear this up but I have been having troubling figuring out how. There was no number given to the collection agency. I tried calling verizon but the Billings department has no idea and I was just given a number that doesn't work and was transferred to another representative in billings. I would like to resolve this. does anyone have any suggestions?
