I have an LG EnV2, and I just downloaded VCast Song ID. I know the application cost $1.99 to download, but after that, usage of it is unlimited.
I am wondering though, are there data charges per megabyte for this? I'm not talking about if I decide to purchase the song or ringtone of the song I ID'ed, but am I charged for the actual usage of the app? I don't have internet in my plan, so I don't know if I'm getting charged for the data used just to find what the song is.
And also, if I am charged per megabyte for it, does anyone know about how many times you have to ID a song, until you get to one megabytes worth of usage?
Thanks!

Yes, VCast Song ID does usage megabytes for song look ups. You can probably get 2-5 song look ups per megabyte, though I've never really tested it.
You can use this chart to see what does/doesn't charge you megabytes.
