My fiancee needs a new phone. I am up for a upgrade but he is not. We aren't on the same account. Can I use my upgrade to order him a new phone online and then just activate it on his account?
IF you use your upgrade it will extend your contract with Verizon for 2 years. If you need a new phone during that time, you would have to replace it at full cost. But it's your choice.
I don't plan on getting a new phone so thats fine. Im just trying to figure out if i order it on my account can I activate it under his.
When you do that he will lose the warranty. You are better off first combining your accounts into 1 and then doing the upgrade. This will save the warranty. And if you're getting married then you will eventually be combining your account into one anyway, right?
