Upgrade Fee????

Hey Verizon!  Take note, we the people who pay for your services don't like being slapped with a stupid fee of 20-40$ (depending on your mood, aparently) to upgrade to a new phone. We need the phone to even be a customer to begin with so how about you stop trying to money grab with the clients you already have because its not cool VZ not forgetting it cool!!

Its one thing to hit up new clients with this bogus fee but you really shouldn't insult your existing clients.

Now I will note that if I raise a big enough fight they will remove the fee when I upgrade my phone but I shouldn't have to VZ it makes me mad and feel bad for the human having to deal with my frustration on the matter. So do us and your employees a favor and stop being so dang greedy!

The fee has been around for 7 years. Why complain now? Good luck not getting on at another carrier. $20 ifyou order online. Upgrade once evey 2 years that's 83 cents a month. Get a jar an put your lose change in it. In 2 years you have your upgade fee and then some

We value your loyalty here with us, Whit19. This is not how we want our customers to feel, and let's turn this around. We are constantly listening to our customers and exploring ways to provide an improved experience which includes an option for a lower fee when upgrading online. The higher fee is because of the representative assistance you receive. When working with a rep, you receive personalized device, plan and feature suggestions based on our knowledge, the opportunity to touch and test new devices, and long-term solutions for your future needs. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, and you can find more information on the upgrade fee our site using this link. http://spr.ly/6608EcVII Does this help clarify things for you?

If you search any of the major carriers followed by "upgrade fee", you'll soon realize they all do it.

You're free to buy a device outright not from Verizon. Bullying agents to remove those fees is rude and you should stop. You don't feel bad at all or else you wouldn't do it.
