I am a retired military vet. I was on the phone with a Rep for over 40 mins
on hold. At one time, i could auricularly discern the conversation in the
background. This is unacceptable. I will not be renewing my contract with
Verizon again. i have been with you for over 20 years. Your accommodation
is getting worse. Unhappy customer. I utilize to be a proud customer. Not
anymore. Customer service is a "0".
Example: My wife ordered 2 phone over the phone due to our upgrade was
good. I ordered the S9+ & the S9. I receive a S9 and a Note 8 in the mail.
I call Vrzn and let them know they sent me the wrong ph. I asked, if you
give me the phone for the cost of the S9+, i would gladly take the Note 8.
NOT! I was told to take the to the a corporate store. Corporate told me
that would have pay a restocking fee. 1-1/2 hours later Still no phone. I
had been since 3:30 am and didn't get back til 6:30 pm. Dinner is cold and
my wife is mad. All said and down. I won't get my phone for another 3
days. All this to save verizon $40 a multi billion dollar company. When
this contract is up. I WILL BE SWITCHING TO ANOTHER PROVIDER.

Thank you for your service Sir.
I have read on here where they have sent out the wrong phone but I have not heard of them charging a restock fee on them. Not sure if I understand right but did it take you from 3:30am to 6:30pm round trip to go to the corp store?

No, I wake up to go to work at 3:30 am. I'm usually home by 4pm. This took
up more time than expected. And I still a problem when i returned home
because the taxes i was suppose to receive was incorrect. It took forever
to get this right.

"Customer Service is a "0""
So you're going to shoot down every rep who spends time away from loved ones to deal with customers on weekends/Holidays because of one rep? To shoot down the reps who spend time beyond their shift to resolve complex issues. You may as well not go to restaurants or anywhere else that offers service.
If I got a bad burger at fast food place in town A, I'm not going to say the person working in town B sucks because of it. Go ahead and go another carrier and eventually say how much they suck months down the line. It's not the company, it's the individual.

If i blame Rep, I blame the organization due the inconsistencies of the
company not making sure all are on the same page with it comes to providing
the customer with good company information. I know people due the best they
can when it comes to there job. But if the company is providing the same
information to all to follow one path. That will confuse the customer. Like
i said in my post. I have been with verizon over 25 years and have seen how
this company is not working together to provide the same information to the
customer. Every situation is different with certain companies, store etc.
The Reps usually try to what they can with the information the company has
provided them with. So don't take it like i blaming the Rep.
Still Unhappy customer.

Contract? Verizon doesn't have contracts. And when they did you only signed one if you took a subsidized phone so your statement is vey confusing. There has never been a contract for just service. And you don't have one know if you just got new phones. You can leave at any time. Good luck at your new carrier.

You don't get it .It has nothing to with the e
Reps . The company has a bad system when it come to helping people with orders . Reis do the best with what the company provides then with . I know how this works because I have friends that work for verizon . Is not the reps .

I've order many phones over the years I don't have any issues. If you're a vet you should go to T-Mobile. $80 for 2 lines which includes taxes and fees.
