I changed the battery in my droid incredible (aka htc adr6300). Now at boot up it gives me the "UIDs on the system are inconsistent, you need to wipe your data partition or your device will be unstable." I haven't added an application in over a year. The three that I did add no longer work. The address book is gone. Everything else seems to work. I could reload the applications. I could reconstruct most of the phone book. But, I don't want to do this until I fix the underlying problem, and switching to a new phone or carrier would not be my first choices.
