Trouble with suspended service despite current account?

I tried to make a call this morning and was interrupted by a Verizon recording telling me my account had been suspended, and I would receive no more information until August 10. Is anyone else having this problem?

Did you request to have your account suspended?

That's definitely not a fun surprise! Having a working phone is a must and I'm here to help.

I do not show this being a reported issue. Are you getting this message with every call? Are you able to receive calls? Have you checked your account to see if a past due balance is due on the account.
