I'm travelling to the US next year and I'd like to bring my phone with me. The device is unlocked so I can use another SIM in it.
I was wondering if Verizon offer SIM only contracts with voice and data, as I'd like to use my phone as a hotspot when I'm on the road. I'd also like to have a US phone number so I can be contacted from overseas while I'm visiting.

Sorry, but as of right now Verizon Wireless doesn't usually allow unlocked phones that are not Verizon Wireless branded on their network.
Your phone sounds like an unlocked GSM phone. This type of phone will work on any of the GSM carriers in the USA. Verizon Wireless is NOT a GSM network. It uses the CDMA technology for its voice network and is incompatible with GSM devices.
