Trade in any smartphone for the $300?

I can go out and buy a new smartphone for 50-$75 Can I just do that and still receive the credit (for trading in and porting over). Can it be a prepaid phone?

One of our existing phones may not be in new condition like they told me it needed to be.

Hello elvis_4875. We'd love for you to be able to take advantage of our current promotions. The $300.00 offer does require a new smartphone on our device payment plan in addition to porting your phone number. In order to qualify for the full trade in value, the device does need to be in a good working condition. If there is damage to the device, the trade in value would be reduced.
