Trade In Scam! Have YOU been scammed?

My old iPhone was in perfect condition and appraised at $200 during the promotion.  Finally I receive my gift card email and it states $36. Immediately, I call the trade-in program only to be told that I must call Verizon Customer Service. I do that. Daniel (agent) tells me that there's been problems with the program and to keep the $36 for my inconvenience and the $200 gift card is on the way. When I ask? Probably around November 6 or 7th, he says.  I call back the next week and Lori says fax all the emails -- I do that... I call again.. I'm told "Your phone screen was cracked".  I say no way. Then I'm told -- its been escalated and I can expect an email soon. Duh! No email no $200 no nothing except a lot of BS.

I feel completed violated and scammed. I would have kept my phone and sold it my self for a lot more than $36. I am so upset with Verizon at this point.

Has anyone else had this issue? Or am I just special?
