doubt so ....tmob has coverage issue most of places so they offer FM option and V don't have a lot of coverage issue

plus if V activate that chip how carrier will make money on data ?

but if things change in future who know

Yep, all carriers except Sprint turned off the FM chip when the phone was released.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for Verizon to turn it on. . . . . . .
