Should I renew my service for 2 more years?

I have had Verizon for 4 years now. NOT HAPPY AT ALL WITH MY COVERAGE. When I started the coverage area was extended network area. And it remains the same today.  I would have thought it would at least be upgraded to Verizon Network coverage and 3G as well.  I am not in a remote area, in fact I have received better coverage in several remote areas around the country.  At spending $250.00 and more a month, soon to be over $300. would at least like to know if ever you plan to upgrade service in the area.  Berkeley Springs, WV 25411

First, this is a peer forum with occasional input from employees. Second, if your coverage is that bad, why have you stayed for four years? I would have given up by now. If I buy a food item at the grocery store and don't like it, I am not going to keep buying it over and over hoping I will eventually like it. I would go to some wireless companies' websites and check the coverage maps in your area. It really varies, even if you have one of the Big Four. Where I live, which is a small city, AT&T and T-Mobile both have abysmal coverage, Sprint is marginally better, with Verizon and U.S. Cellular both having excellent coverage. I suggest switching carriers. Don't spend another two years throwing money away and dropping calls. Good luck in your search for a good signal! (No pun intended) 😉

I am so disappointed with the cellular service.  At home, I have to use Skype in order to be assured of a reliable call.  My term is up in January and I will not renew.  Tampa Florida Seminole Heights area.

I know that coverage in your area is very important rocmydrm because you want to get what you pay for. We currently don't have and we are not able to provide information about updates for towers in this area. Once an area is updated our technicians and engineers process the changes and customers notice the difference in signal and coverage. You can stay updated with new products and services via our News page http://bit.ly/n5snpq. Are you having any issues with calls or data? IF so, what specific issues are you having and what phones do you have?

Dear taylorcold,

Good morning. I know how important it is to be able to use service while in your home. Please, know that we do not want to lose you. Unfortunately, service indoors is not always guaranteed with any carrier due to the structure build of your home or building. However, our network extender does help improve signal in and around your home. For more information regarding our Network Extender click http://bit.ly/AKkC

Thank you for your response.  While I do realize what you say is true, my wife's identical iPhone 4s, used on the AT&T network experiences no problem at home.  We were both on AT&T but I decided to switch to Verizon due to a more extensive coverage profile, unfortunately I do not travel as much as I used to and now work at home.  I looked at the Extender but found its cost prohibitive.  You might be interested to note that the ink  you provided shows that it is "Out of Stock" so even if I wanted to buy it, I could not.  Interesting, don't you think?

Please know that I'm sure you could not care less how I feel, you merely selected a template and sent it off.   By my reckoning, I have spent about $1500.00 over the course of a two year agreement (chump change for you guys, right?) but Verizon knows that they will get their share of customers despite some dissatisfaction.

Unless you want to continue feeding the mouths of liars, I would not renew service.

Taylorcold, of course we care and we're not using any templates. Two phones on different networks are not identical. Did your phone previously work in this house or have you moved to a different area? How is the service when you're outdoors?

My comment was unfair to you and your fellow CSR's.  My frustration is what fueled the that comment.  I regret that.  The service improves marginally when I go outside.  I must be in a "dead" spot and thats not your fault.  I'm confident reception will improve when I switch back to AT&T.  The femtocell solution is just too expensive, especially when my contract expires in a couple of months.

Thank you for responding.
