I've had some difficulty making calls from my Galaxy S4 in Vernal, UT. This area is a roaming or extended service area for Verizon. I don't have any trouble receiving calls, or using text and other data services, but if I initiate a call, I get a Verizon message requiring me to enter the 10-digit number. Entering the 10-digit number also does not connect the call.
My phone indicates 4-bar signal strength, 4G or 4GLTE roaming.
I've tried cycling airplane mode, changing the network mode, and rebooting, none of which made any difference. Help is appreciated--I am frequently in the area for business and having good communications is essential.
