There have been several threads recently (and maybe not so recently, I am relatively new to this forum!) about blocking text messages, blocking voice calls, and being able to choose either or both.
It seems at this time it is all or nothing. If you choose to block a number, both text and voice are blocked. There isn't currently a way to block JUST text messages or JUST voice calls.
Spam controls totally block numbers from ever getting through at all. Usage controls allow you to specifiy hours when the phone is able to be used, but when restrictions are on, it blocks both text and phone usage, except for specific numbers, that have to be on your share plan. I think this could be improved also, allowing you to specify which numbers are allowed access at all times. Grandma's home phone isn't going to be on your family share plan!!
Is there support out there for being able to customize your blocking preferences? How much would you be willing to pay for this added "upgrade" to basic blocking? (There is a $4.99 / month charge for Usage controls now, but it's limited in the options you have to customize it, IMHO).
