I had a Samsung S4 and a HTC One, both 4G phones cannot access several websites when WI-FI is off. Returned error message is:
HTTP error 504: Gateway Timeout
I have tried it at home or work place, but got the same error. Here is one website: http://www.dailycalculators.com
Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the extra details, bdbox. That does help us to confirm it's not the tower you're picking up for sure! And since the access to other data services is working, we can rule out the data connection as well. I actually duplicated that from my end with the site you provided, which tells me the site itself may have mobile restrictions or network connection limitations laid out , as it's usually the website's actual server and not your device that would cause that error. I'd recommend contacting the web server directly (http://dailycalculators.com/contact for the site you provided) to see if there's a way to have the site opened for mobile data too.

bdbox we'll pinpoint the issue and get you connected! What zip code are you located in? Are you able to use any other data activities such as email or apps?

Thanks for quick response!
My zip codes are 07110 and 07310, the later is my workplace's zip. At least at these two places I cannot access the website as I mentioned early. My wife works in NYC (zip is 10017), she cannot access the site either.
Both of us can use other services like email, youtube, text messaging and apps.
Thanks again.
