Retailer Agreement with Target

Why does Target require me to give them my Verizon Wireless password when I want to upgrade a phone?  I am pretty sure Verizon warns not to give out your password.  That procedure really needs to be looked at. I was locked out of my account today because of this.  I also have full manager rights on the account but I had to use the main account information and password.

There is zero reason for anyone to have or ask for your My Verizon password. The pin is the only thing needed and that's for verification.
