Replaced a broken Krzr with another, do I need to do anything with my account?

My beloved Krzr Fire finally died, and since I have no need for an upgraded phone, I simply replaced it with another Krzr I found online, used, but working.  I took it to the local Verizon store and asked them how to activate it.  The counter guy took it, punched some no.'s and handed it back.  It took a few minutes and prompted me for a response, and he said it was ok to use.  The new phone has a slightly different screen and menu than the previous one, but so far everything is working like it should.  My question is do I need to notify or signify anything on my Verizon account that I've replaced the phone?

I don't want to change my plan, which is just a basic, phone and text, I just want to make sure I did this correctly.

Thx
