I have been with Verizon for years, but I'm very frustrated after my recent move. When I am in my new apartment my SIII barely gets a signal, if any at all. I've never had this problem before. What can Verizon do to remedy this situation?

I am sure Verizon will gladly sell you a Network Extender for $250.
If you have trouble with Verizon service in your apartment, it's likely the other carriers will also. You could use Google Voice (in Hangouts App now) to make phone calls/texting over WiFi as a possible solution.

You do realize that your signal strength is going to change at different locations. You are probably further from a tower than you were before. Also being in an apartment that would certainly affect signals strength. Not sure what you expect Verizon to do.

Of course the OP would need broadband internet in the apartment to take advantage of these options.

That may be tricky, though, to place a $250 piece of equipment I purchased in someone else's apartment.

Verizon is like a flea market, you have to keep haggling to get a better price.

dstrong,
We are dedicated to offering you the best possible service where you need it most. It does concern us to hear that the service has not be the best lately but will work to get this resolved as soon as possible. In order to assist you we would need some additional information about what is exactly happening with the service at the new location. What is the zip code of the area? Are you getting no signal issues on your phone both indoor & outdoor? What kind of phone do you have? Is the issue happening with just calls or is it text and data as well? Keep us posted on the information above so that we can look into this area for you.
