Phone tree is disfunctional

I just want to speak to a human being. The phone tree doesn't allow this. When I dial zero, the robot voice says "Let's try that again."

This is the worst possible customer service.

Tell you what, Verizon -- why don't you call me?

When you get the phone tree, try pressing 4 for Other and then saying Agent.

Odd ... it's always worked when I've tried it, and I've usually been connected to a rep within a few minutes.

The longest I've had to hold was about 20 minutes ... typically it's 5 minutes or less.  As tikibar1 said, choose option 4 for Other, then say "AGENT" when prompted to say why you are calling.  This works from *611 on the cell phone, or 800-922-0204 from any phone.

If you're calling Prepaid (*611 from your prepaid cell phone or 888-294-6804), try pressing 2, then 4, 6, 4.

Finally, after five tries I got through to somebody. Serious speech

impediment, I could hardly understand what he said. When I asked him for a

price, he said "about $100 or so," couldn't give me an exact rate or quote.

So incompetent. Total waste of time.
